Our mission is to keep growers and dealers informed on the most up-to-date information.

Blog by Jeff Linn, Spectrum Distribution and Sales Lead

This is the time of year where everyone starts to plan out what needs to be done in preparation for spring planting. It is also a time when getting information is easy, so it’s imperative that we utilize our tools and resources available. It is not uncommon for many farmers to use YouTube to help fix an equipment issue or utilize Google to get a quick answer to a problem. We at Spectrum Premium Non-GMO will provide as much information as possible on our products, suggest different practices and methods to use, and share current ag-related articles to help you make informed decisions. With tighter markets/margins, making the right decisions for your fields has become more imperative now than we have seen for quite some time.

It is our mission to keep our growers and dealers informed on the most up-to-date information available on our hybrid line-up. We are constantly watching our hybrids in multiple different environments and growing conditions to keep our ratings as current and precise as possible. We have diligently worked to create a website and utilize social media (Twitter & Facebook) to continue to give every grower another tool in the decision-making process. We spent ample time in the 2016 growing season putting video descriptions together for several hybrids in our line-up. This provides growers a more detailed look at our line-up in a very quick and effective way. Along with the videos, we include on-farm yield data from growers and dealers across our network to show how our hybrids are performing in varying climatic conditions. We are constantly looking to add valuable informative content to our website by adding articles and blogs from both in-house resources along with third party sites.

In conclusion, I write this in hopes to get more growers to utilize the information available to them. I encourage you to take a look at what we have to offer at spectrumseed.com and maybe our content will help you continue to make informed decisions toward all of your cropping plans. I wish the best to everyone as the 2017 growing season ensues.
